In the heart of the volcanic wasteland of Caelorth, Pyronis resides. 

Pyronis was the protector of the Volcanic Forge, an ancient crucible where the raw power of the earth could be harnessed to create artifacts of immense destructive potential—or enduring beauty. One such artifact was a pen forged from the volcanic fury itself.

Legend has it that Pyronis grew weary of the destruction wrought by the volcanic eruptions that surrounded his domain. While he reveled in the fire's power, he longed to create something lasting—a symbol of fire’s potential for creation rather than destruction.

Gathering shards of obsidian, streams of molten lava, and the ash of ancient flames, Pyronis began his work. With every beat of his wings, he fanned the volcanic flames higher, and with every sweep of his claws, he shaped the pen’s molten form. The body of the pen gleamed with the swirling hues of ash and ember, while its accents bore the texture of dragon scales tempered by fire. He infused the pen with a piece of his flame-bound soul, ensuring that it would carry the essence of his volcanic might.

Pyronis named it The Inferno Scale Pen, a tribute to the power of fire to both destroy and create. It was said that the pen could channel the heat of inspiration, igniting creativity in those who wielded it. However, it came with a warning: only those with a true balance of passion and discipline could wield it without being consumed by its fiery spirit.

For years, Pyronis guarded the Inferno Scale Pen, scorning the adventurers who sought it for selfish reasons. Yet, like Serpentis, Pyronis could not escape betrayal. A cunning alchemist sought to claim the pen and use its power to harness the volcanic forces for destruction. Tricking Pyronis with a potion that sapped his strength, the alchemist sealed the dragon within the cooling magma of his own forge.

But Pyronis, even in defeat, was unyielding. With his last breath, he hurled the Inferno Scale Pen into the fiery heart of a nearby volcano, ensuring it would emerge only when the world was ready for it. The pen surfaced centuries later, carried by the eruption of the same volcano, glowing with the unbroken spirit of the Flamebound Guardian.
